Mission and philosophy
Through a network of thinkers, researchers and young scholars, the Institut Constant de Rebecque promotes in Switzerland a climate of opinion favorable to individual growth, private initiative and free enterprise. To that end, the Institut develops innovative and sustainable solutions to current challenges and broadens the public debate.
Tradition
The Institut Constant de Rebecque reflects the richness of intellectual life in Switzerland, particularly in the Lake Geneva region. The Institut perpetuates the tradition of an important group of thinkers who have profoundly influenced the philosophy of liberty since the end of the 18th century, beginning with Lausanne-born Benjamin Constant, one of the most brilliant, determined and prolific philosophers.
Activities
As an independent, non-profit think tank, the Institut Constant de Rebecque develops innovative and sustainable solutions to current challenges and enriches the public debate.
